Todd M. Hamilton

Todd M. Hamilton is a Managing Director of Bolder Capital.

Todd was a founder of Bolder Capital in 2004. Prior to launching Bolder, Todd was the Chairman of Bear Holdings, LLC, a private holding company solely focused on micro-cap investments in private, closely-held and public corporation divestitures. Prior to Bear, Todd was the CEO of CAMP Systems International, Inc., the largest provider of corporate and VIP aircraft maintenance tracking and related services in the world. Prior to CAMP, Todd was the Co-Founder and Managing Director of Greyrock Capital Partners, a middle market private equity firm focused on opportunities of less than $75 million of enterprise value.

Todd has received many business and leadership awards and honors, most notably being the youngest Presidential Appointee to a Federal Advisory Board.

Todd received his B.S.B.A. from the University of Denver.

John W. “Jay” Jordan II



Prior to founding The Jordan Company in January 1982, Mr. Jordan spent nine years with Carl Marks & Co. as a pioneer in the leveraged buyout business. Mr. Jordan is a Trustee of the University of Notre Dame, and serves as Chairman of the Investment and Finance Committee. He also serves on the Boards of the YMCA, Lyric Opera and the Latin School of Chicago. Mr. Jordan received a B.A. in Business Administration from the University of Notre Dame and attended Columbia University’s Graduate School of Business.

David W. Zalaznick



Prior to founding The Jordan Company in 1982, Mr. Zalaznick was at Carl Marks & Co. Mr. Zalaznick is a Trustee of Cornell University as well as Vice Chairman of the Finance Committee and The Private Equity subcommittee, and serves on the Board of Overseers of Columbia University’s Graduate School of Business. He has also served as a Trustee of American Ballet Theatre. Mr. Zalaznick holds a B.A. in Economics from Cornell University and an M.B.A. from Columbia University’s Graduate School of Business.

Todd J. Lanscioni

Todd has worked for Jordan Industries, Inc. (“JII”) since 1998. Prior to joining JII, he was with LaSalle Bank’s Corporate Banking Department where he was responsible for sourcing, structuring, closing and monitoring senior debt transactions.

Todd received an M.B.A. in Finance from the University of Chicago’s Graduate School of Business and a B.S. in Finance from Indiana University.

Emmett Mosley IV

Emmett has eight years of merger and acquisition experience, having started with Jordan Industries, Inc., in 1997. Emmett has structured, negotiated and completed numerous transactions in manufacturing, Internet and service-related industries. His responsibilities have included business valuation, due diligence management, negotiating and structuring transactions.

Emmett received a B.A. in Psychology and Business Marketing from the University of Notre Dame.

James A. Gordon

Jim Gordon is a Managing Director of Bolder Capital and the Founder and Managing Partner of The Edgewater Funds.

In 1971, Jim joined Gordon’s Wholesale, which he subsequently acquired in a leveraged buyout. Under his leadership Gordon’s Wholesale grew in revenue from $10 million to over $200 million in ten years. In 1986, he sold Gordon’s Wholesale to a European multinational corporation.

Jim has completed over 80 private equity transactions since 1982. Since founding Edgewater Funds, he has raised and managed over $550 million in committed capital on behalf of the firm. Jim serves on numerous portfolio company boards and has made an extensive commitment to non-profit boards, including Grinnell College, The John F. Kennedy National Committee for the Performing Arts, the Whitney Museum of American Art and the Chicago Museum of Contemporary Art.

Jim graduated Summa Cum Laude from Northwestern University in 1971.

Gregory K. Jones

Greg Jones is a Managing Director of Bolder Capital and a Partner of The Edgewater Funds.

Prior to joining Edgewater, Greg was CEO of uBid, Inc., which he built to over $500 million in annual revenues. Greg led uBid through a highly successful IPO and subsequent sale for over $400 million. Prior to uBid, Greg was SVP of APAC Teleservices, Inc., which grew during his tenure from $100 million to $275 million and was the top IPO for Merrill Lynch in 1996. From 1990-1995, Greg was President and COO for Reliable Corporation of Chicago, an Edgewater portfolio company. Greg began his career with Ernst & Young.

Greg has received many business leadership awards including: State of Michigan Leadership Award, the 1999 Ernst & Young and KPMC Entrepreneur of the Year Awards, 1999 Crain’s Chicago Business 40 Most Influential People under 40 Business List and is an inductee into the University of Illinois at Chicago’s Entrepreneur Hall of Fame.

Greg received his B.S. from Miami University, Ohio, and earned his M.M. from the J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University.

David M. Tolmie

Dave Tolmie is a Managing Director of Bolder Capital and a Partner of The Edgewater Funds.

Prior to joining Edgewater, Dave was the CEO and President of Yesmail, Inc., a leading marketing services provider. Dave led Yesmail to a highly successful IPO and subsequent sale for $720 million. Previously, Dave was SVP of Operations for Bally Total Fitness, responsible for the company’s $650 million annual revenue and its 13,000-person sales and operations workforce. Dave began his career as a product manager with General Mills, Inc., and then as a consultant with McKinsey & Company in New York.

In addition to his board responsibilities for Edgewater’s portfolio companies, Dave is on the board of the Field Museum, Illinois Venture Capital Association, Chicago Chamber of Commerce and Chicagoland Entrepreneurial Center.

Dave received his B.A. from the University of Virginia with Distinction and his M.B.A. from Harvard University.

Robert L. Growney

Bob Growney is a Managing Director of Bolder Capital and a Partner of The Edgewater Funds.

Prior to joining Edgewater, Bob was President, Chief Operating Officer and Vice Chairman of Motorola, Inc. In addition to his responsibility for Motorola’s $30 billion global operation, Bob oversaw Motorola’s minority equity portfolio of 240+ companies, including those in the Motorola Ventures portfolio.

After he joined Motorola in 1966, Bob held a variety of managerial positions during this long tenure with the company. At various times throughout his career, he had direct responsibility for the Radio Technologies Group; Paging and Telepoint Systems Group, Paging and Wireless Data Group, Information, and Media Sector.

Bob earned both his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and his M.B.A. from the Illinois Institute of Technology in Chicago, where he now serves as Executive Committee Member of the Board of Trustees. Additionally, he is Chairman of the Oversight Board of IIT’s Stuart Graduate School of Business.

Jeffrey M. Frient

Jeff Frient is a Managing Director of Bolder Capital and a Principal of The Edgewater Funds.

Prior to joining The Edgewater Funds, Jeff was a Partner with William Blair & Company where, as an Investment Banker in the Corporate Finance Department, he led public and private securities offerings and M & A assignments for small and mid-cap companies. He successfully executed 40 deals across multiple industries, including 20 IPOs and Follow-On Public Offerings. Jeff has worked in a variety of industries including business services, marketing services, technology, telecommunications, manufacturing, health care and consumer.

Prior to graduate school, Jeff served worldwide in the U.S. Air Force as an F-16 pilot. He served as an F-16 Combat Flight Leader and has flown over 1,000 hours in the F-16, including 29 combat missions.

Jeff received his M.B.A. from Harvard Business School and earned his B.S. from the U.S. Air Force Academy, graduating as a Distinguished Graduate.
